The world’s largest gold mining company engaged RdL to assist them with the development of their online learning solution. 

The company was in the early stages of re-opening a mine and needed to induct many people who were located across multiple countries. 

It was not feasible to do this onsite, nor to induct over 2,000 people within a short period of time. Safety is of utmost priority, therefore, no one was permitted to work without first completing the induction program. 

RdL proposed an online learning solution.

This included an assessment and monitoring tool that provided administrators the ability to review various aspects such as pass rates, duration to complete, and the like.

The solution was a combination of videos PowerPoint slide shows, voice overs, and images, that all added to the participants learning experience.

The product enabled the client to take ultimate control after hand over, meaning they had the ability to further develop the product to suit their needs as operational demands changed. 

The client also engaged RdL to support them in having the online solution translated into other languages for the benefit of non-English speaking participants.
