Last week saw 61 of Air Niugini’s Emerging Leaders graduate from their leadership development journey facilitated by RdL.

As they all learnt, the program was no walk in the park and there were times where I am sure many would have preferred to walk away, but they persevered and graduated with pride.

The program, spanning 10 months included 18 days of classroom facilitation, many mini quizzes, a final assessment, strategic projects and culture change projects and 11, 1 on 1 executive coaching sessions. In addition, these key leaders also continued their regular work activity.

2 teams have already had an opportunity to present their strategic projects to the Board and received a standing ovation for the projects they delivered. In addition, 1 team also rewrote the companies Vision and Mission statement and had it approved by the Board.

The program is all about building leadership capability, having a solution focus, and building communication skills so your interactions with Board members and senior managers generates solid ROI for all parties.

For the first time in 18 years, one Papua New Guinean achieved 100% on the final assessment. Congratulations to Nanoa Iogae.

Other award winners included;

  • 1st place – Nanoa Iogae
  • 2nd place – Faith Ope
  • 3rd place – Daisy Pumwa
  • Chief Executive Officers Recognition Award – Nanoa Iogae
  • Most sustainable personal growth award – Regina Parkop
  • Employee choice award – Mika John Loko
  • Visionary leadership award – Thomas Tommo Molean

The truth is all 61 on them are winners and we look forward to watching their continued personal and professional growth.
