We often overlook the most readily available brand ambassadors we have.

Our team will always have the traditional role of doing the doing whilst hopefully showing leadership in all that they do, but we need to focus on how they can support ‘The Brand’ through being living ambassadors for the Company.

Successful organisations are moving towards building a culture where each employee feels empowered and loyal enough to promote the brand and its benefits to their friends either in person or through the use of social media.

A recent trip to Fiji highlighted the power of Employee Ambassadors. The company launched a new product and asked their team to spread the word through social media. As their Facilitator, Robert de Loryn was connected to a lot of these people on social media and saw the high level of engagement by the team as a result of this simple request.

This does not happen unless people want to do it. The company has created the safety of circle for their people and as such have built trust and respect from their team leading to a large majority of them taking on the Brand Ambassador role that adds so much value to an organisation.
